Central Park, NYC

One of my favorite spots in New York Cit (NYC) is the Central Park. Apparently it's the most visited urban park in United States. If you are visiting NYC, it's a must see/do. Luckily for me, my mom was visiting from India and so the day after the big snow storm I decided to take her to Central Park.

Now I must admit that I hate snow storms and had it not been for my mom I would have never dreamt of stepping out of my house. But I am so glad I did because when I saw that Park all covered in snow, it were the most beautiful moments. The snow covered trees looked gorgeous. The pure white snow sparkled in the bright golden sunlight and I felt, I was in wonderland. Here are some pictures I clicked while freezing in the cold :)

Black & White

I recently came across this picture (on the internet) which left me speechless! Photographer Marcin Ryczek snapped this once in a lifetime image of a man feeding swans on a snowy river bank of Poland. What's beautiful about this picture is the juxtaposition of black/white, snow/water, man/animals. I absolutely love this photo and the fact it's not photoshopped is so very inspiring.
